Sierra 25 – 48/230 can be used as a UPS to secure AC & DC loads and charge the batteries. The 3 all bidirectional ports allow for multiple innovative applications such as grid reinjection, peak shavings, phase balancing or energy sharing through DC distribution, among many others.
By using several modules, we can offer solutions for three-phase (3x400Vac + N) infrastructures.
The module can be integrated in small or large cabinets to reach up to 2 MW. With our new Inview S monitoring, you can benefit from a unique experience.
The total output power per module is 2.7 kW, limited to 2.4 kW for each AC or DC port.
Sierra Module DatasheetInview S GUI Interface is a standard controller for ECI technology based bi-directional products. It is a powerful web-based touch screen graphical display, it allows user to easily access, monitor the system and protected with PIN code.In addition to the touch screen a web interface is accessible via ETH port.
This Subrack System is an all-in-one solution including the Sierra 25 – 48/230 power converters and Inview S monitoring in only 6U high. The system is single-phase and designed for 48 Vdc (DC loads & batteries) and 230 Vac (grid & AC loads) infrastructures in N+1 configuration. The solution is modular: you can start with a single module (2.7 kW) and increase, according to your needs, up to 8.1 kW.
Sierra is the world’s first fully bidirectional power converter. The three ports (two AC and one DC) built into each module can all function as input and output. This means that you can use it to secure AC & DC loads and charge batteries at the same time. Sierra is also the right choice for energy management applications such as grid reinjection, peak shavings, phase balancing or innovative solutions based on energy sharing via a DC distribution.
