New Ultra Wide Input Range DC/DC Converter for Railway Applications

Helios Power Solutions announces the QAE100U 100W DC/DC Converter for Railway Applications, as well as Industrial & Telecom applications. The ultra-wide 12:1 input range is available in 9-75VDC or 14-160VDC. With the one single 12:1 ultra-wide input range, the 14-160VDC module can cover all variations of power systems on rolling stock from the one unit. The QAE100U provides a single output with 5, 12, 15, 24, 28, 48 and 53Vdc output voltage, up to 100W, in an industry standard quarter brick PCB mount package.QAE100U is designed to meet EN50155, EN45545-2, IEC62368-1& EN61373. Making them ideal for rolling stock applications.

  • User UVLO (under voltage lock out) setting
  • Ideal for applications when running off battery to limit deep battery discharge
  • Up to 3000VAC isolation
  • DC output adjustment -20% to +10% range
  • Remote ON/OFF control and operating range of -40 to 105degC base-plate temperature, with optional heat-sinks available
