Amtex Electronics

Australia

1979 – 2016

Amtex Electronics PTY LTD Australia
Amtex Electronics Pty Ltd was a leading supplier of DC Power solutions in Australia since its inception in 1979. Originally started by Jim Kuswadi, the company quickly became established with leading global brands such as Absopulse, TDK Lambda, XP Power and Powermate. Amtex always provided technical advice and customised solutions and has the ability to design and build Power Solutions in house. For many years the company was based in Angas St. Meadowbank NSW, but in October 2016 moved into new expanded premises in South St. Rydalmere NSW – Helios Power Solutions Australia Like the other businesses in the group, Amtex prides itself on the quality and stability of its staff. Many have been with the company in excess of 20 years. In November 2013 Amtex became part of the Helios Power Solutions Group (renamed Helios Power Solutions Pty Ltd in May 2016), and now has access to the products, technical skills and manufacturing capability of all the group companies. The company can offer customers an unparalleled combination of products and industrial power expertise for any industrial power conversion requirement.

Innovative Energies Ltd

New Zealand

1987 – 2016

Innovative Energies Ltd. was formed in 1987 in Auckland by Steve Sangster and Ivan Thompson, and has designed and manufactured a range of industrial grade power supplies, battery chargers and DC/DC converters since then. In the mid 1990’s the company moved to its current ISO 9001:2008 accredited facility in Henderson Auckland. The range of No Break Switch Mode dc power supplies and DC/DC converters are sold throughout the world where quality is valued, and more recently the business has focused on building total DC and integrated DC & AC solutions complete with battery backup. A key strength of the business is the ability to design and customise DC power products from PCB level upwards. Manufacturing is based around economically producing product at low volumes.

Inline Components

New Zealand

2000 – 2015

Inline Components Ltd. was formed by Barry Johnson in 2000. Barry focussed on developing DC Power systems primarily for switching applications in electrical utilities. His systems were based on the Cordex convection cooled rectifier range, and were designed and assembled in his facility in Featherston. His business was purchased by Innovative Energies in 2015, and formed a logical extension to the Innovative product offer.

Enertec Power Solutions

New Zealand

1987 – 2016

Enertec Power Solutions Ltd. was also formed in 1987, and has a solid reputation in the NZ market for Uninterruptible Power Supplies, power quality solutions, and light- ning and surge protection. The company has real depth in industrial electronics and sells and supports the Riello range of AC UPS, and the extensive Erico range of lightning and surge protection products. This business adds significant technical expertise and a logical extension of product categories to the group, and as a result became part of Helios in November 2016.

All of these entities have been brought together under one business, and renamed Helios Power Solutions Ltd., based in Henderson Auckland, with branches in Wellington and Christchurch. They all share our core values – technical expertise, excellent power solutions and outstanding service.

Middle East & Asia

2016

In May 2016 a new company – Helios Power Solutions Pte Ltd. – was formed in Singapore. It offers the technical expertise and product range of the group to key markets in Asia. Our sales engineers provide power conversion solutions, and a personalized service in this rapidly growing area.
