DIN Rail Mount Redundancy / Decoupling Diode Module

The decoupling module is a dual input diode with 2 inputs and one output, suitable for various applications such as to produce redundant applications to decouple power sources from each other as well as from the loads e.g. separation of sensitive loads from the power bus, design buffered branches, block reverse power etc.

Parallel connection ” Redundancy” for CBI Series of DC UPS

Power supplies can be paralleled in case of redundancy concept, to obtain a higher system reliability. Redundant systems may support N+1 redundancy to safeguard against single-point failures, or to enable hot-swapping of a failed supply without system impact. In case one power supply unit fails, the other one is automatically able to support the load current without any interruption. To separate completely the hypothetical device fail, it is necessary add the decoupling diodes which are included in the Redundancy Module MR220.

This connection has one independent battery source for each one of the DC Power Systems. . Redundancy Connection with just one battery source

This connection has just one battery source for both DC Power Systems. Parallel connection “Redundancy” is also possible with the CBI 600W: CBI1235AP, CBI2420AP, CBI4810AP

Power supplies can be paralleled in case of redundancy concept only for the power supply function but not for the battery energy.
