Protocol Testing DNP3 Outstation Server

Distributed Network Protocol 3  (DNP3) is a non-proprietary protocol that enables reliable, efficient, and secure communication between remote master stations and outstations in industrial automation systems. It is widely used in the water, transport, Oil & Gas and electricity industries in Australia and New Zealand due to its need for timestamping, security, and openness.

Master operation centers (MOCs) and control centers in water and electricity companies need to monitor all the main activities and equipment for each substation and pump station. DNP3 is a valuable tool for these critical infrastructure players, as it allows them to collect and analyze data in real time, identify potential problems, and take corrective action quickly and efficiently.

In this video, we show how to simulate and test a DNP3 connection between an IED (outstation) and a SCADA System (master station) using our Axon Test industrial protocol simulator software.Apart from Axon test industrial protocol testing software, Helios Power Solutions also offers a SCADA / HMI and Communication Gateways software which support Distributed Network Protocol 3 (DNP3).

Facilitate the testing and analysis of industrial protocols, ensuring multiple protocol support in real time.
